Keilani Ricketts – Professional Softball Player


Keilani Ricketts is an elite professional softball pitcher. She was born in San Jose, California on September 1, 1991. She played high school softball for Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose and played college level softball for the Oklahoma Sooners from 2010 – 2013.

College Career

Keilani played for the Oklahoma Sooners under Patty Gasso for all four years of her college career. She played the position of pitcher and helped lead the Sooners to their second ever Softball National Championship in the Women’s College World Series (WCWS) in 2013.


Keilani had an impressive ERA of 1.23 with 1021 innings pitched and 1531 strikeouts in her collegiate career for the Sooners. She was also the first pitcher in 5 years to throw a no-hitter in the WCWS when she did it in 2013 against Michigan.

Keilani wasn’t just an outstanding pitcher she was also one of the Sooners’ top hitters. She had an overall .334 batting average for the four years with 503 at bats. This included 156 RBI’s and 47 home runs. Her on base percentage was .502.

Keilani was drafted 4th overall in the 2013 National Pro Fastpitch Draft by the USSSA Pride. Her fellow pitchers on the Pride include Cat Osterman, Blair Luna, Jordan Taylor, Chelsea Thomas and Sarah Pauly.
